Our mission at New Eclipse Community Alliance (NECA) is to serve a network of neighborhoods through educating and empowering community advancement while providing solutions to violence, poverty, hunger and disenfranchisement. Our programs provide greater access and exposure to a better life for underserved communities.

NECA seeks to enact change through leveraging investment in community members and providing sustainable solutions through education and economic empowerment.
Our Values
Revitalize the Community
New Eclipse Community Alliance will collaborate with stakeholders and the City of Chicago to establish a Special Service Area. Our aim is to revitalize commercial corridors, attract investment, aid small business growth, improve housing, and support children and families.
Prevent/Reduce Gun Violence
Through Community Bonds, NECA will be serving youth as well as adults who reside in New City, Englewood, Southwest side Cluster, North Lawndale, and South Shore and who are at immediate or high risk of either being victims or perpetrators of gun violence.
