Selena

Selena is a 19-year-old rising college sophomore working with NECA through the CPS Teach Chicago Tomorrow internship program. This summer is her first summer working with NECA where she will be focusing on planning community events to promote fun, health, and safety for all ages. She is also supporting our community garden and our summer camp program as a camp leader! When she is not working, Selena likes baking, drawing, writing, and spending time with her friends. Her personal goals include transferring to Northeastern University after she finishes her next year at Truman College so that she can continue working toward her goal of becoming an elementary school teacher! What she loves most about working with NECA so far?: “The people I work with are very nice. Overall it is a great group to work with!”
